No visitors today.

Weather:
Another cold, windy, and overcast day. Temperatures started around 0C,
ending at -3C with a windchill to about -12C. Cloud cover stayed at 100%
for the entire day, with a consistent W wind increasing from about 30km/h
to as high as 50km/h at around 10:00, settling to 35km/h or so for most of
the day. Light snow started at around 09:15, increasing as time went on,
peaking at 11:30, and becoming light again by 12:30.

Raptor Observations:
Only two raptors observed, both in the 09:00-10:00 window, and both
struggling to head west with much efficiency. The first was a red-tailed
hawk, followed half an hour later by a fourth year bald eagle.

Non-raptor Observations:
A few more arriving birds, but nothing unexpected. Hairy woodpecker, horned
lark, and American wigeon were the highlights of the day.

Predictions:
Warmer weather and partial cloud cover look more promising, 30-40km/h
westerly winds may not help though. I'm cautiously optimistic for a better
day tomorrow.
