Eurasian Wigeon (Leeds and Grenville): The male reported November 4, presumably same bird found by Mark Patry on October 8, continued at Mac Johnson CA to at least November 12 Purple Sandpiper (Durham): One bird was seen by many at McLaughlin Bay November 11-14. Purple Sandpiper (Frontenac): Eric Lamond found and photographed one at Snake Island on November 9. Purple Sandpiper (Haldimand): William Konze and Andy Nguyen found one at Rock Point PP on November 9 that was seen by many to at least November 14. Purple Sandpiper (Toronto): One bird was seen by many at Colonel Sam Smith Park November 10-11. Black-legged Kittiwake (Hamilton): Rich Poort reported one off Van Wagner's Beach on November 13. Black-legged Kittiwake (Toronto): Owen Strickland photographed four birds off Tommy Thompson Park on November 14. SLATY-BACKED GULL (Nipissing): The bird found by Garry Waldram on the east side of Lake Nosbonsing on October 18 continued to at least November 14. A second adult was found by Stephen O'Donnell and Cynthia McAllister at the East Ferris Landfill on November 9 and continued to at least November 11. SLATY-BACKED GULL (Precott and Russell): Vincent Fyson found and photographed one at the Clarence-Rockland Landfill site on November 10. Western Grebe (Toronto): The bird at Colonel Sam Smith Park continued this week to at least November 11. Pacific Loon (Bruce): Bob and Anne-Marie Taylor reported one off Kincardine on November 9. Pacific Loon (Grey): William Gray photographed one north of Owen Sound on November 10. Pacific Loon (Simcoe): At least one bird was reported this week from the Barrie waterfront. Glossy Ibis (Bruce): Presumably the same bird found by Rachel Moore on October 28, one bird was at Stokes Bay November 8 and 9. Glossy Ibis (Chatham-Kent): Bill Chan photographed one over Keith McLean Conservation Lands on November 13. Western Cattle-Egret (Chatham-Kent, Essex, Frontenac, Northumberland, Peterborough, Prince Edward): Another good week as many birds continued; at least seven individuals were reported throughout southern Ontario this week. Cave Swallow (Durham): Sam Collins photographed two birds past Newscastle on November 8. Barry Elkind photographed three individuals past Halls Rd in Whitby on November 9. Mathew Toby photographed two birds past McLaughlin Bay/Darlington PP on November 10. Jeremy and Tim Logan reported one at Darlington PP on November 11 and many observers saw one at the beach in this area on November 12. Cave Swallow (Grey): William Gray photographed three north of Owen Sound on November 11. Cave Swallow (Prince Edward): Andrew Brown reported two birds at Point Petre on November 8. Cave Swallow (Renfrew): Logan Baldwin reported one at Cobden on November 10. Cave Swallow (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): Mike Burrell reported one near Elma on November 9. Cave Swallow (Toronto): Several observers photographed two birds over Rosetta McClain Gardens on November 8. MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD (Chatham-Kent): Steve Charbonneau found a young male at Keith McLean Conservation Lands on November 12 that was seen by many the same day but which has not be refound since. Yellow-rumped Warbler (AUDUBON'S) (Toronto): Owen Strickland photographed one at Toronto Island on November 9. Summer Tanager (Algoma): The female found by Jim Ryan at Whitefish Island on November 6 continued to at least November 14. Summer Tanager (THUNDER BAY): One bird is coming to a feeder at a private residence on Hwy 61 south of Thunder Bay November 9 to at least November 11.
