Eurasian Wigeon (Leeds and Grenville): Presumably the same male found by Mark Patry on October 8, a male was seen by several observers at Mac Johnson CA November 4-6. Harlequin Duck (COCHRANE, Durham, Niagara, Northumberland, Simcoe, Toronto): At least nine birds were reported this week around the province. Barrow's Goldeneye (Ottawa): Males were reported this week from Dow's Lake and near Strathcona Park along the Rideau River. White-winged Dove (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): Martin Bowman photographed one at a feeder on Cedar Grover Rd north of Lancaster on November 2. Hudsonian Godwit (Durham): The bird at Rotary Park in Ajax found October 28 continued to at least November 3. Hudsonian Godwit (Norfolk): Up to two birds were reported this week from the Long Point causeway, with at least one bird remaining to at least November 2. Purple Sandpiper (Chatham-Kent): Steve Charbonneau found one at the Erieau pier on November 3 that was seen by many and Ken Burrell reported six birds there on November 6. Purple Sandpiper (Cochrane): A group of birders at Netitishi Point photographed two there on November 3 and reported three there on November 4. Purple Sandpiper (Toronto): Ken Ztopolovsky photographed one at Colonel Sam Smith Park on November 3. BLACK GUILLEMOT (Cochrane): A group of birders at Netitishi Point reported one there on November 3. Black-legged Kittiwake (Halton): George Prieksaitis reported one off the Esplanade Park in Oakville on November 3. Eared Grebe (Lambton): A group of birders photographed one off Pinery PP on November 2. Western Grebe (Toronto): One bird was seen by many at Colonel Sam Smith Park November 3-7. Pacific Loon (Cochrane): A group of birders at Netitishi Point reported one there on November 3 and 5. Pacific Loon (Lambton): James Holdsworth and Bill Lindley reported one off Ipperwash Beach on November 6. Pacific Loon (Simcoe): At least one bird was reported this week from the Barrie waterfront. Western Cattle-Egret (Chatham-Kent, Dufferin, Frontenac, Greater Sudbury, Hamilton, Northumberland, Peterborough, Prince Edward): A very impressive nine individuals were reported throughout southern Ontario this week. Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the Queenston area. Cave Swallow (Bruce): Stephane Menu found three birds at Cabot Head on November 5 that remained to at least November 6. Cave Swallow (Chatham-Kent): Josh Bouman photographed one near Port Alma on November 1. Cave Swallow (Hamilton/Niagara): At least seven birds were reported at Fifty Point CA on November 5 and at least nine were reported there on November 6. ROCK WREN (Thunder Bay): Ted Armstrong found one at Hurkett Docks on October 31 that was seen by many again on November 1. EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Algoma): Mike Norton reported one in Thessalon on November 1. One bird was reported from a private residence in Desbarats November 2 to at least November 6. Summer Tanager (Algoma): Jim Ryan photographed a female at Whitefish Island on November 6 that was still present there November 7. Debbie King photographed a female at a private residence on Shannon Rd on November 7. Dickcissel (Chatham-Kent): Garry Sadler reported one from Bates Subdivision at Rondeau on November 5.
