Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 12:00:00
Total observation time: 3 hours

Official Counter: Dave Brown

Observers:

Visitors:
A few visitors today.... Gerry, Laure and Rob C.

Weather:
The weather forecasters said there was only a 30% chance of rain today...
but they were 100% WRONG.... so sadly I decided to leave with drizzle in
the air at noon. Winds did get to moderate from the WNW and NW but there
was just too much moisture in the air I think and it was solid overcast.

Raptor Observations:
Only 17 birds today.

Non-raptor Observations:
On the other hand there were some really good non-raptors today including a
late Blue-headed Vireo seen right at eye level foraging beside the road,
several flocks of Rusty Blackbirds, a couple of Common Ravens, several
small flocks of Purple Finch, Pine Siskin and American Pipits... and there
were Cedar Waxwings everywhere it seemed.

For a list of all non-raptors seen today check out my eBird checklist at:
