Eared Grebe (Rainy River): Dorlisa Robinson reported one at Emo Sewage Lagoons on July 23. Western Grebe (Toronto): George Koppel found one at Colonel Sam Smith Park on July 27 that was seen by many. Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): The bird reported previously at Albuna Townline outside of Leamington was seen again this week. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The family group continued this week at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons. COMMON RINGED PLOVER (York): Willem Span found one at the Beeton sod farms on July 26 that was seen by many July 26-27. Willet (Essex): Cameron Chevalier photographed one at Point Pelee on July 27. Franklin's Gull (Durham): The summering bird was reported by Jax Nasimok at Darlington PP on July 21. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (York): Lev Frid found one at Davos Pond on July 23 that was seen by many to at least July 26. Black-billed Magpie (Elgin): Trish Snider found a family group on Fingal Line near St. Thomas on July 26. The homeowners report that the family has been there for some time, with at least four newly-fledged young. Please respect the homeowner's property and only view from the roadside. Blue Grosbeak (Chatham-Kent): The singing male found by Paul Pratt three weeks ago near Tilbury remained to at least July 25.
