| A great day of birding so far in Point Pelee. A good number of migrants have arrived including many great species. The number of warbler species today has jumped to 24. The highlight of the Tip reverse movements which were occurring this morning was a WESTERN TANAGER, which has made a number of flights out as well as being seen in the trees near the Tip. It is still being seen as we write this report. Also noted GOLDEN-WINGED, CERULEAN, PRAIRIE and other warbler species. A MARSH and SEDGE WREN, were both noted just north of the Middle Island sign. Near the gravel parking lot at the Tip, a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen. A few RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS were seen at the Tip as well as a few other places in the Park. A WHITE-EYED VIREO was seen at the north end of the Redbud Trail. A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was noted between bridge A and B, on Woodland Nature Trail and als
o on the Shuster Trail, in the first wet spot. A RUSTY BLACKBIRD and GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER were seen in Tilden Woods. There were reports of a PRAIRIE WARBLER in Black Willow Parking lot. Another CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen at the Marsh Boardwalk.
