BARNACLE x Cackling Goose (hybrid) (Bruce): A group of birders found one bird with other geese at the Kincardine Sewage Lagoons on March 15 that remained to at least March 16. TUFTED DUCK x scaup (hybrid) (Toronto): The male found by MakailJohannesson at Tommy Thompson Park on January 28 continued to at least March 11. Harlequin Duck (multiple): There were continuing birds reported this week across the province from Durham, Simcoe, and Toronto. Barrow's Goldeneye (multiple): There were continuing birds reported this week from Hastings and Ottawa and a new bird found March 14 at Long Point's Inner Bay by Richard Skevington remained to at least March 15. Black Vulture (Muskoka): The bird found by David and Regan Goodyear in Bracebridge on February 20 continued to at least March 16. Black Vulture (Lambton): James Holdsworth found one on March 14 in Port Franks and Janette Davidson found two the next day. LEWIS'S WOODPECKER (Manitoulin): The bird discovered in early January by the homeowner, Phyllis Caccioti, near Billings continued this week. There is currently no public viewing planned but more dates may be added in the future. Harris's Sparrow (Lambton): The bird found by James Holdsworth at the Willsie Pit on Bog Line between Thedford and Port Franks on November 18 has been seen by many to at least March 16.
