The thirty-seventh Cedar Creek CBC tallied 76 species of 26,029 individuals on Dec 17. Highlights included record high counts for Northern Shoveler, Red-breasted Merganser, Dunlin, Ring-billed Gull and Bald Eagle while record low counts were recorded for Northern Flicker, White-throated Sparrow and Song Sparrow. Two new species for the count, Pileated Woodpecker and Northern Waterthrush brought the all time count to 164 species.
