Observers: Bob Hall- Brooks, Paul Pratt,, Hall-Brooks, Bob, Hugh Kent,
Karen Padbury, Larry, Liz Kent, Padbury, Karen, Paul Pratt,
                  John Barnes, Pratt, Paul

Visitors:
We had so many amazing visitors today! So many interested groups who were
very interested in the hawk watch and birding. We thank Karen, Bob H.B.,
Bob P., Jim, John, Larry and Paul!

Weather:
The weather today started off fairly cloudy with northern component winds.
By the end of the day, temperatures had warmed and cleared with southeast
winds.

Raptor Observations:
There were not as many broad-wings as expected today, possibly due to the
shift in winds. We had a few nice northern harriers close to the tower and
a couple merlins too.

Non-raptor Observations:
The highlight of today was again the blue jay migration with almost 30,000
jays! We also had a brown thrasher, bobolink, and Gray-cheeked thrush. We
also had a group of 40 killdeer fly over the marsh!

Predictions:
Tomorrow should be another hot one, and once again, we are still holding
out for some kettles of broad-wings.
