----------------------------------------------------------------------

Observation start time: 07:15:00
Observation end time: 12:30:00
Total observation time: 5.25 hours

Official Counter: Chris Burris

Observers:

Visitors:
A half-dozen or so curious individuals showed up today.

Weather:
Temps ranged from 16C to 25C at count's end. Cloud cover began around 60%,
dropped to nil, then rebounded slightly to 10%. Winds were mostly W, with a
hoped-for northerly component never quite arriving -- in fact, things were
WSW by count's end.

Raptor Observations:
Early in the season and the mostly west wind made for a pretty slim count.

Non-raptor Observations:
40 species recorded from the new Hawk Cliff platform today, including 13
warblers (most notably, 1 Canada and at least 5 Cape Mays).

Predictions:
A clear day with a modest NW/NNW to start... perhaps the numbers will be a
bit better.
