Details: I have tried to indicate the finder, where known. My apologies to those who I have left out. You can help me by giving the finder's name(s), if known, in your eBird checklists. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 and their young were seen to at least August 9. American Avocet (Essex): An adult was found at the western Essex Sewage Lagoons on August 9 by Leon Barlow that remained until August 11. Willet (Chatham-Kent): One bird was found by Maria Cohoon and Donna Ferguson on the beach at Rondeau on August 10. Willet (Thunder Bay): Fred Jennings photographed one at Longlac on August 6. Arctic Tern (Manitoulin): Peter Baker reported two birds with a group of Common Terns on August 9 off the northeast corner of the island. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Frontenac): The bird found by Jenny Newton in CataraquiBay on July 28 was seen by many all week to at least August 11. LITTLE BLUE HERON (Essex): Three young birds were at Fish Point on Pelee Island on August 10, found by Sumiko Onishi. YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Hamilton): Presumably the same adult seen earlier last month at LaSalle Park and Pier 4 Park was reported from Bayfront Park August 9-11. Black Vulture (Niagara): A high of one bird was reported from Queenston this week.
