BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 and their young were seen to at least August 4. American Avocet (Hamilton): An adult was found at Tollgate Ponds on August 4 by Barry Coombs and enjoyed by many. Hudsonian Godwit (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): Hans van der Zweep found an adult at the Long Sault Parkway on the north side of McLaren Island on August 2. Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Chatham-Kent): Blake Mann found one at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons on August 1 and another was photographed by Rob Crawford at Keith McLean CA on July 30. Willet (Lambton): Sharon and Deryl Nethercott found two that were photographed on the beach at Canatara Park during their brief stay. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Frontenac): The bird found by Jenny Newton in CataraquiBay on July 28 was seen by many all week to at least August 4. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Leeds and Grenville): Mark Patry photographed one from the Thousand Island Parkway near Griswold Island on July 30. Black Vulture (Niagara): A high of four birds were reported from Queenston this week. Western Meadowlark (Kawartha Lakes): The bird found by JulieAnn Prentice on Shrike Rd on July 3 remained until at least August 1.
