Good morning Birders,
Another cool sunny morning greeted birders at the Park. The wind was light
out of the SE which prompted many species to move off the Tip. Include were
many BALTIMORE and ORCHARD ORIOLES, blackbirds, and others including
BOBOLINK, SCARLET TANAGER, INDIGO BUNTING, KINGBIRD, RED-HEADED WOODPECKER
and a few Warblers. In the Woodland Nature Trail there were a number
interesting species such as HOODED WARBLER, YELLOW-THROATED and WHITE-EYED
VIREO, PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, and BLUE-WINGED WARBLER.
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was noted just north of the parking area beside the
Festival tent along the main road for a short period. At the north end of
Tilden Woods someone saw a YELLOW-THROATED VIREO. The PILEATED WOODPECKER
seen at the Tip yesterday was seen again at White Pine.
We have not had any Update from Hillman.
Good Birding,
Aaron Brisebois, Stuart MacDonald, William Konze, Paul Pratt and Pete Read
