Hey, Not that rare but noteworthy, as there have been almost none in the south since 2020, were 5 Pine Grosbeak on the Cedar Trail section of the NCC Dunes and Swales. They were in the secondary swale, likely feeding on what little winterberry remains here. https://ebird.org/checklist/S102523382
Dunes and Swales property is found at the end of Richardson Drive, off East Parkway Drive in Ipperwash. Take the Cedar Trail loop. The birds were about 300 m northeast of where the trails fork.
