BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Niagara): After a couple weeks of not being reported, the long-staying Dufferin Islands bird was reported October 9-14. Harlequin Duck (Prince Edward): A female-type bird was reported from Charwell Point October 9. American Avocet (Chatham-Kent): Five birds flew by the dog beach at Rondeau Provincial Park October 13. Hudsonian Godwit (Norfolk): Three birds were reported October 13 in Port Rowan while Up to two birds remained at Turkey Point to at least October 11. Hudsonian Godwit (Essex): One bird was seen in flight at Holiday Beach October 8. Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Chatham-Kent): One bird was reported in the onion fields by McGeachy Pond October 9. Pomarine Jaeger (Essex): Reports from Point Pelee this week included two birds October 9 and singles on October 10 and 11. Pomarine Jaeger (Halton): One bird was reported off Burloak Park October 9. Long-tailed Jaeger (Niagara): One juvenile was photographed at Jordan Harbour October 10. RAZORBILL (Ottawa): The Ottawa River was the place to be this week and the Razorbill show started October 10 with two birds initially found at Constance Bay. At least 9 birds were seen from various points along the river between Constance Bay and Deschenes Rapids October 10-14. RAZORBILL (Prescott and Russell): One bird was photographed October 14 at Voyageur Provincial Park. SLATY-BACKED GULL (Ottawa): One bird was seen at several locations around Ottawa October 8-14. Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Sightings came in daily this week from the Barrie waterfront with a high of five on October 12. Western Kingbird (Algoma): The bird found last week in Wawa continued with sightings on October 8 and 9. LeConte's Sparrow (Lambton): One bird was seen by many at the Forest Sewage Lagoons October 8-9 and 13-14. Dickcissel (Renfrew): The bird found last week in Pembroke continued to at least October 14. Dickcissel (Halton): One bird was seen by many in Oakville near the Zachary Pond October 11-13. Dickcissel (Bruce): One bird was at the Cabot Head lighthouse October 9.
