BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Chatham-Kent): Three birds spent July 9 on private property between Morpeth and Palmyra. BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Hastings): One bird spent July 13 in Victoria Park, Belleville. BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Norfolk): The flock of 16 birds discovered in Port Dover on July 8 continued to July 13 after being enjoyed by many birders. CHUCK-WILL'S-WIDOW (Prince Edward): The Hilltop Rd bird is back for its eighth year and was reported on July 9. Franklin's Gull (Norfolk): An adult was at Hastings Drive on Long Point on July 11. Black Vulture (Niagara): One bird was reported in Queenston July 14. Western Meadowlark (Middlesex): One bird continued on Newbiggen Drive near Glencoe this week. Blue Grosbeak (Norfolk): The young male continued from last week, being seen and heard pretty much daily in the field at the SE corner of Hwy 24 and E Quarter Line, north of Port Rowan.
