Hi everyone, For those of you interested in the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas (see https://www.birdsontario.org/) what we hope will become a regular event is happening Wednesday evening at 7 pm eastern.
"Sappy Hours" are meant to be light "question and answer" periods for atlassers. This week is the first Sappy Hour and we're kicking it off with a short presentation about some of the changes between Atlas-2 (which ran data collection 2001-2005) and Atlas-3, followed by lots of time to ask questions you might have on any atlas-related topic. Head over to the below link at 7 pm tomorrow night to catch the presentation or to ask questions (note that even though it is through Facebook you don't need a Facebook account to join. The video will start at that link at 7 pm). If you have questions ahead of time, add them as a comment on the link. Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/ONBreedingBirdAtlas/posts/206472541234128 Mike Burrell for Kaelyn Bumelis, Atlas-3 Assistant Coordinator -- Ontbirds and Birdnews are moderated email Listservs provided by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) as a service to all birders in Ontario.
