Ross's Goose (Bruce): One adult remained near Armow November 28-29. Ross's Goose (Chatham-Kent): One adult was at Ridgetown Sewage Lagoons November 29-December 3. Ross's Goose (Essex): Ad adult was at Essex Sewage Lagoons December 3. Ross's Goose (Hamilton): The continuing pari of young birds remained at Bayfront Park November 27-December 3. Ross's Goose (Ottawa): An immature bird was photographed on the Rideau River in Nepean November 28. Greater White-fronted Goose (Lambton): An adult was south of Kettle Point December 2. Greater White-fronted Goose (Wellington): Two birds were at Damascus Reservoir November 29-December 1. King Eider (Greater Sudbury): A female was photographed on Kelly Lake November 28. King Eider (Hamilton): A female was off Grimsby at Fifty Rd November 29 and three females and a young male were off Stoney Creek at Fruitland Rd December 3. King Eider (Ottawa): A female was at the Moodie Drive Quarry pond December 1. King Eider (Renfrew): A female was photographed on the Ottawa River at Pembroke November 30. King Eider (Toronto): Two females remained off Pipit Point, Tommy Thompson Park November 27-28. Two females were off Colonel Sam Smith Park December 2. Harlequin Duck (Algoma): Two females continued off Whitefish Island November 29-December 1. Harlequin Duck (Durham): The male continued off Thickson Point November 27-28. A male was reported off Cranberry Marsh December 3. Harlequin Duck (Niagara): An adult male was reported by the control gates November 29. Harlequin Duck (Peel): An adult male and a female continued together in Mississauga November 27-December 3, mostly off RK McMillan Park. Harlequin Duck (Simcoe): The female continued around the City of Barrie marina November 27-December 2. White-winged Dove (Lambton): Last week's bird was reported again this week on November 27 on Shiloh Line east of Alvinston. Purple Sandpiper (Durham): Up to four birds were reported November 27-29 at Oshawa Second Marsh a single was at Thickson's Point December 1. Purple Sandpiper (Northumberland): Three birds were reported at Presqu'ile November 29. Purple Sandpiper (Toronto): One bird was reported at Tommy Thompson Park November 27 and two were there on November 28. Red Phalarope (Grey): The bird at Wiarton Sewage Lagoons continued November 27-29. MEW GULL (Brant): The Mohawk Lake bird was reported November 27 and December 2. Pacific Loon (Hamilton): A single bird was reported from various locations around Hamilton Harbour November 27-December 1. Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Up to two birds remained along the Barrie waterfront November 27-30. Least Bittern (Norfolk): A very late bird was seen in a closed area near Long Point Provincial Park December 3. Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to ten birds were reported around Queenston November 27-December 2. Gyrfalcon (Bruce): Last week's bird was reported November 27. Gyrfalcon (Greater Sudbury): A white morph bird was reported December 3. White-eyed Vireo (Toronto): The bird at Colonel Sam Smith Park continued November 27-December 2. Townsend's Solitaire (Muskoka): A single bird made a brief appearance in Huntsville December 2. Varied Thrush (Thunder Bay): The Dorion bird made a single appearance this week, on December 1. Swainson's Thrush (Toronto): The Humber Bay Park east bird continued November 29-December 3. Swainson's Thrush (Waterloo): One bird was reported at Riverside Park in Cambridge December 1. Yellow-headed Blackbird (Algoma): The male between Iron Bridge and Thessalon continued November 27-December 2. Western Meadowlark (Thunder Bay): The Manitouwadge bird continued at least November 27-30. Tennessee Warbler (Peel): A late bird was photographed at Adamson Estate in Mississauga November 29. Northern Parula (Halton): One bird was at Sedgewick Forest December 1-3 and another was at LaSalle Park December 2. Bay-breasted Warbler (Peel): A late bird was at RK McMillan Park December 1-3. BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER (Toronto): The Woodbine Park bird was last reported November 27. Summer Tanager (Lennox and Addington): One bird was at a feeder on Amherst Island at least November 29. Summer Tanager (York): At least one bird was photographed at multiple Newmarket feeders November 29 and December 3. BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK (Algoma): The Sawpit Bay bird continued this week, reported at least to December 1. However, the homeowners have made the difficult decision, for public health reasons to limit access to local birders only. Please respect these wishes.
