More info has surfaced According to “Discord”, someone was asked to leave at about 10:30 Saturday morning, and left us with the impression that they were not going to allow the public to enter. Not sure why this happened, or if there was just a misunderstanding. Another person accessed the Wiarton Sewage Lagoons about 11:00 am without any issues, but no workers were seen. So if you go, you might, or might not have issues. Do not drive your car through the gate if it is open. They may lock your car in there. Only walk on the front berm. Definitely, DO NOT walk between the cells or go to the far side. I hear there are signs of some sort stating that.
The facility phone number is (519) 534-1891 Good luck. Good behaviour. Good Birding. Bruce Edmunds V=========================== According to a post on Discord this morning, Sunday Nov 29, the REPH is present, but the gates are closed, and you will be asked to leave.
