Thanks to Tom B, Keith, Ronnie, Tom S, Bill R, Terry T for doing today's count. Weather: A nice day weather wise but way too hot for this late into September and it definitely had an impact on the lack of a flight today. Combined with winds from totally the wrong direction from the ESE around to the SW it was a slower migration movement. Sun and cloud to start then breaking out to totally blue skies. Raptor Observations: A total of 191 birds today with a slight pickup in numbers as the wind backed around to the SW. Non-raptor Observations: None reported. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm More site information at hawkcount.org: http://hawkcount.org/siteinfo.php?rsite=392 _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
