Weather: Winds from the S all day (not the best by far) but at least a few birds were moving. Also very humid which slows the migration. Temp from 12C to 22C. Almost solid cloud cover for the entire count period. Raptor Observations: A total of 217 raptors tallied today. Non-raptor Observations: The monarchs were on the move again today. Otherwise, no reports were submitted on passerines etc. Predictions: Well the winds are forecast to be NE to start Monday and then backing around a bit to E. If the birds were on the move then tomorrow could be a decent day for a Broadwing flight. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm More site information at hawkcount.org: http://hawkcount.org/siteinfo.php?rsite=392 _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
