The Common Eider continues at Humber Bay Park west this morning. When I arrived at 8AM she was just east of the point close to shore with a pair of Long-tailed Ducks. After 10 minutes it flew out onto the lake straight off the point about 100m out and landed near a larger group of mixed ducks. A scope would be most helpful at this point.
Directions as per previous emails Bird is south of the last parking lot Found by Theresa Dobko. Humber Bay West Park is south of the QEW. Take Parklawn south turn right on Lakeshore. Park entrance will be on your left. Drive to end and park in the last lot. Walk out to the point and scan straight out. Good luck!
