Observation end time: 13:30:00
Total observation time: 5 hours

Official Counter: Craig Evans

Observers:

Visitors:
A group of 11 school children from Bright Child Montessori, led by 3
supervisors, came to the tower today for an outdoor educational
experience.
John Barnes and Bob HB were also at the tower today.

Weather:
It was a warm start to the day with temperatures at 10.9 C. The winds were
blowing from the due south all day. Humidity was fairly high at around 85%
for much of the count today. It was mostly cloudy with the sun making brief
appearances throughout different points in the day.

Raptor Observations:
It was a very slow day for raptor migration. What was observed was often
far to the north. A few Sharp-shinned Hawks and Coopers Hawks were seen
flying by. No buteos were observed today. A Merlin powered by the tower in
the morning, making this the highlight of the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Upon arrival in the morning, there was a large group of Rusty Blackbirds in
the surrounding trees. Others were also observed throughout the day. Large
groups of Ceder Waxwings and Pine Siskin were also observed today. Not many
American Crows were moving through compared to yesterdays totals.

American Crows - 33
