Hi there, This morning Pat Schiller and I crossed paths with Tom Morrison, a local photographer, who had seen and photographed a Townsend's Solitaire earlier today in the bushes in front of the entrance to the Visitor Centre in Point Pelee National Park near Leamington (about 10 min drive to entrance and another 10 mins to the Visitor Centre, SE end of Point Pelee Dr., admission or pass required).
Wow! This is very likely the same individual bird that spent much of last winter in that exact location, though I am sure it must have spent the warmer months somewhere else. Great find Tom! We did not refind it in a quick search, but I would be very surprised if it is not seen again. Good birding!
