Visitors:
A big thanks to everyone that helped with today's count... Chris B as

Weather:
The temperature remained fairly steady, about 6C-8C all day. Winds were WNW
and moderate (16-20 km/h) for most of the day, swinging to straight W
around 3pm, which slowed the flight. Cloud was 100% for pretty much the
whole day.

Raptor Observations:
A solid day overall with a total of 954 birds recorded. Most notable were
the three late Broad-wings and a fabulous adult Goshawk that was being
dive-bombed by a Sharp-shinned at 12:52 p.m. at the north end of Sharpie
Alley.

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors included: Song Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Lincoln’s
Sparrow, Blue Jay, American Goldfinch, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Northern
Flicker, Common Loon, American Crow, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, American
Redstart, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Purple Finch, Golden-crowned Kinglet,
Eastern Phoebe, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Eastern Towhee, Yellow-rumped
Warbler, Black-bellied Plover, Cape May Warbler, Nashville Warbler,
Blue-headed Vireo, Palm Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Tundra Swan,
and Belted Kingfisher.
