Hello Ontbirders! Pacific Loons (x2) back at Kempenfelt - adult breeding plumage well out to west of Minet’s Point. Not sure if best seen from here or the South Shore centre. Scope a must.
Also, Little Gull x2 our over the bay to the west and a Sanderling on the beach here at Minet’s. For the Pacific Loons - Look for a gleaming silvery-white nape, black throat and dark body with significant amounts of white on the back. Careful with many (over 150) Common Loons that are in various states of moult. Good birding!
