Visitors:
Many visitors throughout the day attending the Hawk Festival. 


Weather:
It was a cool morning at 12.5 C with light to moderate winds from the
north, a change from the past few days. Visibility was good and the skies
were clear. The temperature only rose 4 C throughout the day and the skies
gradually became 100% cloud covered.The winds shifted to east. 

Raptor Observations:
Very good day in terms of Broad Wings coming through and saw several
kettles throughout the day. 
Many Turkey Vultures also beginning to come through. 
Northern Harriers, Sharp Shinned Hawks and American Kestrels also came
through in decent numbers as well some migrating Bald Eagles. No Ospreys
were seen again today. 

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays came through in huge numbers today with almost constant streams
of them for much of the day. American Gold Finches and Ceder Waxwings also
were coming through in good numbers.

Predictions:
For tomorrow, winds are expected from the northeast and switching to an
easterly direction by mid-day. It should be sunny and warming to 20 C by
the afternoon. Hopefully it should be another good day as the Hawk Festival
continues for its final day!
