*Convention Registration ends at noon, Tuesday, September 25th* OFO's Annual Convention begins in less than a week on Friday, September 28th in Leamington, Ontario. Don't miss out on the fun! While online registration is now closed, you can still submit your last minute registration by contacting Brian Gibbon at [email protected] until noon on Tuesday, September 25th. Please note that the Kayak Trips are full. *Handbook of the Birds of the World: Your Opportunity to Acquire a Complete Set at the Convention* The estate of the late Clive Goodwin has generously donated a complete, pristine set of the multi-volume Handbook of the Birds of the World The set will be auctioned off at the convention with proceeds going to OFO's special projects. The set belonged to the late Clive Goodwin and has has 16 volumes plus the 17th special volume, New species and Global Index. It is difficult to acquire the full set now and prices come in around $3,000 dollars CDN, not counting shipping. We are setting a minimum opening bid of $1,000 for the complete set, which will be on display at the conference. Email bids will be accepted as well as bids at the conference. Please note that any shipping costs will be added to the cost of the set. *Call for Volunteers* Do you have a few hours to devote to Ontario's birding community? OFO needs volunteers to help with writing and editing, social media, marketing, fund raising, outreach and education.
