The Cattle Egret was present this afternoon about 3pm opposite 315 Huff Road. It was gleaning imsects off resting white cattle. It briefly took flight with a flock of Starlings but soon returned.
Directions: Travel 1.6 km west of Brighton on Highway 2 and turn left (south) on Huff Road. Cattle are 0.8 km south of tracks. Phil Wright Richmond.
