Eva Visscher found a Painted Bunting yesterday in McGeachy Pond Conservation
Area and Erieau Rail Trail (McGeachy Pond Conservation Area
Erieau Rd, Blenheim, ON N0P 1A0 https://goo.gl/maps/tk7dvNcEsC12) in
Chatham-Kent. Looks like a female-type.

It stayed on the gravel paths of the trails most of the time and was very easy
to re-find. First observed at 3:00 pm and last observed at 8:30 pm.

Pictures are on the Ontario Rare Bird Alert Facebook page and Pelee Bird Alert
WhatsApp group - I don’t know if a ‘Rondeau’ one exists.

That’s all I know.

Good birding,

Stu
