Hey folks,
Was out yesterday to the wetlands (sorry for the late post but my first
submission yesterday failed apparently) and had some great birds including:
Greater White-Fronted Goose
- most likely the same bird as observed on Friday
Ross’s Goose
- spotted swimming not far from the GWFG in the cell behind the plant
- small goose not much bigger than surrounding ducks
- check out the link to my eBird checklist for pics and more details
Horned Grebe
- was actively feeding straight out in front of the new viewing stand
- bird was still in basic plumage
Lots of other waterfowl:
Pintails, Green-winged and Blue-winged Teal, Hooded Mergansers, American
Wigeons, Redheads, Lesser Scaup, Buffleheads, Mallards
My eBird checklist can be found at the following link:

Good birding!
