This morning at 9:30 saw a Common Raven flopping from utility poles to
spruces around the intersection of Logan Ave. and Withrow Ave. It was
croaking occasionally and disappeared eastward, low over the rooftops.
First I’ve seen around here since moving into the neighbourhood 35 years
ago. First I ever heard around here was three days earlier, flying westward
a block to the west.
Logan is the fourth street running south from the Danforth (mind you it’s
one way north) east of the Don Valley. Withrow is one block south of
Withrow Park.
