Hello there.. gyrfalcons are deemed to be sensitive species; however, be aware that there is a dark phase Gyr in the south Peel area. This Saturday is the CBC for Peel-Halton, and I will be looking for it. It was seen today on 3 different occasion by two separate old timer birders, between 2 and 3:15 pm. It , dark phase Gyr, had been seen a week ago a few km from today’s location. Sorry for the lack of information about its specific location, but I thought some of you should know.
