The female King Eider is still present on the St. Lawrence River east of Cardinal as of 1 p.m. today. It can be viewed from the end of Galop Canal Road 1.5 km east of Cardinal along Highway 2. Turn left on Galop Canal Road and proceed to parking lot at the end. Walk to the river. The bird flies a short way upriver and drifts down.
