Windy day in front of house at Scugog Point..... many hundreds of ducks in fairly rough water. Vast majority are Redheads with Lesser Scaup a close second. Among the others are Mallards, Ring-necked, Bufflehead, a few Goldeneye, American Wigeon, Canvasbacks, and a single Eurasion Wigeon.... first that I have seen on Scugog.
Scugog Point is on south-east side of Lake Scugog off Durham 57 (almost directly north of Bowmanville... about 30km south at 401) Bruce F.
