Hello All,

I'm sorry to disappoint, but this is unfortunately not a current report. While
going through eBird, I somehow found myself looking at the reports in Marina
Park in Thunder Bay (the same place as the Violet-green Swallow).

On September 27th there was a California Gull reported to be among the Herring
Gulls. There are no photos, however, the description the observer gave seems to
match this species, but then again, I'm no gull expert!

Although the likelihood of it still being there is very slim, it may be worth
your while to check out groups of gulls to see what may be hiding amongst them.
Who knows, maybe it, or something even better, will be found again.
