A juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron that was posted to a bird ID Facebook group yesterday, has been refound along River Canard just south of St. Joseph's church in Amherstburg. The bird was last seen right across the road from 121 South Riverview Dr. catching prey along the shoreline.
Directions: >From Front Rd/County Rd 20, turn onto Malden Rd. Turn right at North Townline Rd and head over the River Canard bridge toward the church. Turn right just before the church onto South Riverview Dr. Scan the near shoreline. Good Birding!
