Yesterday evening between 6-8pm Erika Hentsch, Barb Charlton and I searched for
the reported juvenile YCNH. After about and hour and half of searching the
river the bird flew in from the north. It was actively feeding a few hundred
meters west of the train bridge. It appears the bird frequents this section of
the river regularly but some patience is required.

Directions:

The St. Jacobs Millrace Trail is located on the north end of town along Front
St. From the parking area on Front St. Walk west along the river. Once you pass
the train bridge along the trail that's the area where the YCNH has been
frequenting.
