In speaking with a park official a moment ago, I was told that the entire park
is closed, with entry past the entrance gate limited those who reside in the
residential area and perhaps also to those camping in the park. Park can be
reached at 613-475-4324.
The amount of flooding has increased and on Saturday, the area of park road
before reaching the park gate was covered with a large pond of water and east
roadside ditches overflowing with water. Local home and cottage sandbagging
continues.

Subject: [Ontbirds] Presqu'ile lighthouse loop closed
This is not about a sighting but an FYI....Was doing some wet birding at
Presqu'ile this morning but was asked politely by park staff to leave the
Lighthouse loop area. The wet spring is causing erosion so they have closed
the lighthouse loop.Anyone that is considering going birding there may want to
call ahead to find out if any of the park can be accessed. As as all the
beaches and the marsh boardwalk entrances are gated as well, and it looks like
it will be raining most of the day.Steve C.
