At around 8:30 this morning I heard a singing House Wren, then located it. There were also 5 species of woodpecker in the park - Downy, Red-bellied, Flicker, Sapsucker, and a true Essex County rarity, a Hairy Woodpecker. Don't laugh! I might see one a year down here.
