A pair of very vocal fish crows were spotted flying from the pier-side to the marina-side of Port Dalhousie on Sunday. Hopefully they have been hanging around the area for some time. A link to a somewhat distance shot is included below. Confirmation was made with a video/audio recording by Ryan Griffiths today and is posted on the Ontario Birds Facebook group.
DIRECTIONS: Port Dalhousie pier can be found at coordinates 43.204989°, -79.264135°. From the QEW, take the Ontario Street exit in Saint Catharines and head north on Ontario Street for 1.9 km. Turn left at the intersection for Ontario Street and Lakeport Road, and follow Lakeport Road west as it runs right into downtown Port Dalhousie.
