Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 13:15:00
Total observation time: 4.25 hours

Official Counter: Dustin Brewer

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Patrick Mulawa, Rosemary Brady

Visitors:
Paul was our only visitor today.

Weather:
When we arrived to the count site today, we found overcast skies. As is
expected when rainy systems are moving in, barometric pressure dropped.
Sporadic light rain fell until just after 1, when the rain became steady
and we stopped the count.

Raptor Observations:
Only two migratory raptors were spotted today, a Northern Harrier and a
Cooper's Hawk. A local Coop was also spotted, as well as a local Merlin.

Non-raptor Observations:
Our best observations were of the non-raptor sort today. A Common
Goldeneye, a few Great Black-backed Gulls, and five Snow Geese were
spotted. At least twenty Bonaparte's Gulls hunted in front of us, and five
Mute Swans flew by.

Predictions:
The rain is currently predicted to stop by time tomorrow's count starts.
Winds will have a southerly component. Hopefully raptors decide to move!
