Yesterday afternoon at about 2:15 as I was walking back to my car, I was shocked to find an Anhinga soaring over the parking lot of a school located at 161 Via Campanile in Woodbridge. It was seen well for several minutes as it soared higher and drifted to the east.
There are many storm water ponds in the area but this bird appeared to continue its journey. Perhaps it was the same bird observed by Tyler Hoar in Oshawa earlier this month. Details will be submitted to the OBRC. I apologize for the late posting but was not subscribed to ONTBIRDS at the time.
