Bob, Cary, Ronnie, Keith and Lucas. Weather: A nice day at the hawkwatch with lots of sun and some cloud moving in about mid-morning. Temp got to a high of 18C and winds were light from the WNW. Raptor Observations: Another small flight today with a total of 148 birds. As usual most were TVs (115) ...along with N. Harrier (7), Sharpies (11), Cooper's (2), Red-shoulders (2), Redtails (4), Am. Kestrels (4), a couple of Merlin and a single Peregrine. Non-raptor Observations: The Am. Robins were definitely on the move with several large flocks note throughout the morning. Other species included Am. Crow, Am. Goldfinch, N. Cardinal, E. Starling and RW Blackbirds, Common Grackles, WB and RB nuthatch, BC Chickadee, Myrtle Warbler, Brown Creeper, Downy and Red-bellied Woodpecker and YB Sapsucker, Common loon, E. Phoebe, WT Sparrow, E. Towhee, E. Bluebird, Magnolia Warbler and Tufted Titmouse.
