Nice day today at Presqu'ile, for those who enjoy the wind and the cold.

On Oct. 22 at around noon, I saw the first Northern Shrike of the season
for Northumberland County, on Huff Road, near Presqu'ile. This day was a
wonderful day for movement. I didn't see, but heard a report of a Golden
Eagle just outside the Park's gates. It was almost too windy to do much
birding on the shores of Presqu'ile.
