Mike Malone from Pelee Wings set up a scope on the lower deck for a couple of young kids who were very keen to see birds. Weather: A very pleasant day on the tower. Clear skies in the morning became partly cloudy after noon. With light to moderate NW winds the temperature ranged from 7C in the morning to 17C by closing. Raptor Observations: Not quite the flight we expected given the conditions but an enjoyable day. Non-raptor Observations: eBird report will follow on Oct. 11. Predictions: Light and variable winds to start the day will become light E-SE by noon.
