Weather: The day was very windy with strong and gusty north east winds. Sprinkling of rain during the 9 bird hour and then a strong steady rain started at 10:30 and continued. Temp got to a high of Raptor Observations: Just 11 birds observed today with the highlight a couple of early Peregrines. Other birds included a single Osprey, N. Harrriers (3), Sharpies (4) and a lone Cooper's Hawk. Non-raptor Observations: None reported. Predictions: Winds are predicted to be ENE and fairly strong BUT there's a pretty good chance of rain on and off for the day so I'm not sure just how much movement there'll be. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([email protected]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
