Observation start time: 11:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 4 hours

Official Counter: Natalie Cypher

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Patrick Mulawa

Weather:
Rain showers through the morning pushed the count back to a noon start.
Early afternoon was mostly cloudy and breezy with a few gusts of wind. The
afternoon gradually became clearer, with a pleasant end to the day. Winds
were from the W and SW.

Raptor Observations:
Migration was relatively light today, with a small kettle of Turkey
Vultures and a handful of Sharp-shinned Hawks, a couple of Northern
Harriers, and a single Kestrel, Bald Eagle, and Red-tailed Hawk.

Non-raptor Observations:
A couple of large rafts of Double-crested Cormorants could be seen on the
lake near the horizon, one of which approximately 280 birds. 19
Pied-billed Grebes were also counted on the lake, and we had a nice flyover
of 5 American Wigeon.

Predictions:
Tomorrow's weather will be pleasant - sunny with a high of 69F. Winds will
be from the SW - somewhat heavier at 15-25 mph.
