This afternoon on May 27 around 5:23 PM I saw a group of about 50 or 60 Whimbrels flew in from the West on the lake side, crossed over the path leading to the light post at the end of the western tip of the park and then over to the Marina and finally turned to fly back into the lake and towards west. I took lot of photos as they circled once around me.
Colonel Sam Smith Park is at the end of Kipling Avenue near the lake and in Etobicoke.
