A continuing Willet at the Brighton Constructed Wetland was cooperative and
picture-perfect today.

I last saw the Willet in the cell closest to the road, along with a number of
other shorebirds, at 4:30 pm on May 21.

Also of interest were a pair of Blue-winged Teals and a surprising Red-headed
Woodpecker that flew west over the Wetland at the very end of our visit. A note
to anyone looking for Red-headed Woodpeckers around Presqu'ile: there appears
to an influx of them this weekend, as I've heard reports of at least 5
different individuals in the area.

The Brighton Constructed Wetland is just east of Gosport (south of Brighton) on
County Rd 64. Also it would be great if you had a Wetland pass.

Looks like we're in for a good one at Presqu'ile this weekend!
